The Assistant Designer will assist the Senior Designer in creating a competitive product line, engaging in tasks such as sketching, fabric sourcing, and sample development to support the brand's growth.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the creation of seasonal color palettes, flat sketches, line sheets, tech packs, BOMs, and graphic pages, sending to vendors with speed and accuracyCommunicate with graphic designers to provide feedback, check the final artwork, and ensure the timely delivery of graphic assetsAssist in approving and releasing comments for strike-offs, lab dips, wash panels, and trimsAssist in researching innovative graphic techniques each season, researching and sourcing new fabricsOrganize and maintain design development, including artwork, trims, fabric worksheets, and WIPsParticipate in garment fittings and revise and update information for the Senior Designer to communicate with vendorsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Merchandising, Technical Design, Product Development, and ProductionManage sample logs, sample racks, and assist in line review with the internal teamsSkills1+ years of design experience in private label women's sportswear categories, including tees, hoodies, joggers, knits, wovens, or jacketsProven experience with flat sketches in Adobe Illustrator, familiarity with PLM or other design management systemsStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to manage priorities in a deadline-driven environmentExperience with working in a fast-paced environment, problem solve, and work on multiple projects at the same timeFamiliarity with garment construction, print and graphics preferredBenefitsHealth benefitsA 401(k) with employer matchMerchandise discountsCommuter benefitsWellness & employee assistance programsCompany OverviewTrue Religion which is headquartered in California, was founded in 2002 by Jeffrey Lubell with the intention of redefining premium denim It was founded in 2021, and is headquartered in Rancho Dominguez, California, USA, with a workforce of 201-500 employees.
