Assistant Bookkeeper (Remote)
Rightangled Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Bookkeeper to support our growing healthcare organisation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, thrives in a structured environment with multiple Group companies, and wants to contribute to the financial health of a fast-paced, mission-driven company - all while working remotely.Salary Banding - Up to £500 per monthKey ResponsibilitiesManage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and on timePerform bank reconciliations for all group companies and promptly investigate and resolve discrepanciesReconcile Stripe receipts with Shopify sales reports. Ensure all postings in Xero are correct.Ensure compliance with accounting policies, tax regulations, and financial reporting standardsSupport month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of quarterly VAT returnsAssist with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely paymentsShould be able to manage and support the overall bookkeeping for all group companiesProvide ad-hoc financial and administrative support as neededRequirementsRequirements1–2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeepingMaster’s degree in Accounting/Finance, ACCA Affiliate, or part-qualified ACCAHands-on experience with bank recons, accounts payable and receivable processesStrong analytical skills with high attention to detailGood understanding of UK accounting standards and tax regulationsProficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.
