Our client, an industry leader in automotive services, is seeking a dedicated ASE Certified Major Assembly & Warranty Claims Processor to join their team. As a Major Assembly & Warranty Claims Processor, you will be part of the warranty support department, supporting the technical hotline team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
About the Role
As a Major Assembly & Warranty Claims Processor, you will be part of the warranty support department, supporting the technical hotline team.
Responsibilities
• Review online dealer requests for warranty replacement of major assemblies such as engines, transmissions, differentials, and transfer cases to ensure all required data is present.
• Provide approval under warranty and communicate with dealer technicians for additional information if needed.
• Process warranty claim requests associated with approvals, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Evaluate parts on warranty claims, removing unrelated parts and verifying all necessary components are present.
• Assist in evaluating major assembly defects through technical assessment and provide component approval.
Qualifications
• Advanced automotive technical knowledge and understanding of repair orders and warranty claims processing.
• ASE Master Technician Certification preferred.
Required Skills
• Strong knowledge of dealer service operations and differentiating warrantable from non-warrantable repairs.
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills via phone and email for interaction with vendors, dealers, and internal teams.
Preferred Skills
• Strong knowledge of dealer service operations and differentiating warrantable from non-warrantable repairs.
Pay range and compensation package
Pay Rate: $28/hr.
Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:
