Artist & Label Partnership Manager, Punjabi, Haryanvi, Bhojpuri

We are looking for an Artist & Label Partnerships (ALP) Manager for Punjabi, Haryanvi & Bhojpuri music, to join our Artist and Label Partnerships team in India - a team that is engaged in helping artists grow. The role is primarily about ensuring that artists, managers, distributors, aggregators and labels see Spotify as the #1 partner for artist development and growth. You will work closely with the India team to implement critical initiatives for the focus languages as well as collaborate with international counterparts on global campaigns. You are strong in data and analytics and have a sound understanding of the music business. You will also interact closely with internal teams to further Spotify’s marketing and distribution initiatives to the mutual benefit of Spotify and its industry partners. What You'll Do Be the face of Spotify across all artists and labels that you handle across Punjabi, Haryanvi & Bhojpuri languagesCreate, build and maintain positive relationships across the artist and label community !Work closely with artists and labels on all important and priority releases in your space and help make it a success on SpotifyEducate our key partners on Spotify tools and resources, which helps them improve their impact on their listenersAnalyse data and insights to identify growth opportunities for the artists from the focus languages Work in partnership with the local and global editorial teams to ensure content strategies are localized and optimally drivenWork closely with the Marketing, Comms and other cross-functional teams to fulfill company’s marketing and business goalsBe an advocate for Spotify’s interests and initiatives within the artist community and among the industry enabling a deeper artist and fan engagement with SpotifyEnsure Spotify has the best possible content offering in your territory, and use this to further Spotify’s appeal to existing and new usersDevelop methodologies and efficiencies to be an outstanding partner to our artist and label partnersAttend key events, conferences, and shows. Some travel required (depending on laws and restrictions) Who You Are You have a minimum of 7 years' experience with labels and artist relations in an established digital music service, record label or at a media company in IndiaYou have experience of working with artists and labels in multiple regions across India (especially the North and West states) and also international artist & labelsYou have a strong music and technology background. Any formal training and education in music is a plusYou are passionate about music and also have a deep understanding and a consistent record in music marketing and operations including the latest digital marketing techniquesYou have excellent analytical, negotiating, presentation and communication skillsYou are numerate and adept at analyzing and interpreting data and using it to drive business objectivesYou are well organized, dedicated, with the ability to plan and deliver on tight deadlines and pay close attention to detailYou possess a high level of written and spoken English and are proficient in speaking at least one of the languages that you are responsible for ! Where You'll Be This role can be based in Mumbai, New Delhi or in ChandigarhWe offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home
