As an Architect Professional in their Data Centers group, you will contribute to the engineering, design, and construction of data centers and other mission-critical facilities, ensuring technical quality and adherence to client expectations.ResponsibilitiesCollaborating with a team of designers and engineers as Architect/Architectural Designer, you’ll help us engage with clients and subcontractors, designing some of the world’s most advanced data center facilitiesYour multi-discipline, highly interactive team will work together to deliver construction documentsPlan and conduct work requiring judgment and evaluation, selection, and adaptation of architectural techniques and criteriaExhibit a high level of attention to detail and quality controlPerform calculation checking of others’ workCollaborate with other designers in the development of layout, technical design, construction drawings, specification, and model creationAttend project meetings and take an active role in helping the team resolve concerns and solve problems across all disciplinesParticipate in and champion internal, cross-discipline, and external project quality reviewsSupport field construction efforts, including reviewing submittals, responding to questions from clients and contractors, and performing field walksPerform technical and business presentations with clients and employeesPerform quality reviews on designs performed by othersParticipate in developing proposals, budgets, and schedules for process-specific workSkillsBachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited Architectural programProfessional Architectural License and be able to be licensed in multiple states1-2 years of professional Architectural Design experienceExpert-level proficiency with REVIT, AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Adobe SuiteKnowledge of building codes and applicability to industrial facilitiesUnderstanding of scopes of work, developing budgets, and reviewing schedulesAbility to work well across multiple teams and lead small architectural teamsMaster's degree in ArchitectureExperience with designing data centers and industrial manufacturing facilitiesBenefitsMedicalDentalVisionBasic life insurance401(k) planThe ability to purchase company stock at a discountDeferred compensation planExecutive Deferral PlanUnlimited U.S. Personalized Paid Time Off (PPTO)Seven paid holidaysCaregiver leaveMerit increasesPerformance discretionary bonusStockCompany OverviewJacobs leads the global professional services sector delivering solutions for a more connected, sustainable world.
