Arcgis Business System Analyst(W2)
We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst (GIS) with strong experience in the Utility domain and expertise in GIS technologies to support large-scale renewable energy, transmission, and infrastructure programs. The ideal candidate will serve as a client-facing liaison, collaborating with cross-functional teams while driving end-to-end GIS project ownership and delivering high-quality spatial solutions.
Key Responsibilities
ā¢ Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, clients, and technical teams for GIS-related initiatives.
ā¢ Lead end-to-end GIS project execution across utility, renewable energy, transmission, and infrastructure programs.
ā¢ Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
ā¢ Develop and maintain GIS datasets, geodatabases, and spatial analysis workflows.
ā¢ Utilize ArcGIS Pro and ArcPy/Python automation to improve operational efficiency and streamline GIS processes.
ā¢ Perform CAD-to-GIS data conversion, integration, and validation activities.
ā¢ Ensure data accuracy and integrity through rigorous QA/QC processes and governance standards.
ā¢ Translate complex spatial and technical analysis into executive-level presentations and business insights.
ā¢ Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, IT, and project management teams.
ā¢ Support process improvements and recommend GIS best practices within utility environments.
