AR Collections Specialists
AR Coordinator (Remote) ( Company located in the Houston, TX area)
Type: Contract-to-Hire Pay: $23–$24/hr DOE
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Role Overview: Seeking a detail-oriented AR Coordinator to manage collections, cash application, and account reconciliations for a retail portfolio. You'll resolve billing issues, drive timely payments, and support month-end close. Key Responsibilities:
Handle daily collections and follow up on past due accounts.
Reconcile customer accounts, resolve short pays, credits, and chargebacks.
Apply cash and process remittances accurately.
Investigate and resolve invoice disputes with internal teams.
Negotiate payment arrangements within company policy.
Monitor chargebacks and coordinate resolution.
Maintain aging reports and AR metrics.
Support month-end close and provide audit-ready documentation.
Assist customers with invoices, statements, and portal access.
Systems & Skills:
Maintain accurate records and use AR systems, Excel, and customer portals.
Preferred experience with D&B, GetPaid, JD Edwards, MS Dynamics, Vertex.
Qualifications:
3–5 years of B2B collections experience preferred.
Proficient in MS Office Suite
