Engagement Description  This Pharmacy Technician Role is within a remote contact center. We service health care payer Medicare Part D Members and Providers. Our goal is to handle Member and Provider inquiries concerning benefits and coverage determinations. Our timeframes are extremely tight (urgent 24 hours, standard 72 hours).
 Work on the pharmacy help desk handling prior authorization requests from doctors' offices.
 Requests are received via fax, mail, email, phone and electronic PA system
 Receive and respond to member questions about their pharmacy benefit
 Work from home  private and quiet workspace required
Ability to work 8.5 hours starting as early as 8am and ending as late as 9pm.
Top 3 Required Skills/Experience  The most important must-have skills.
 Retail Pharmacy experience  at least 2 years
 Good computer skills (Typing, outlook, excel, etc)
 Good fundamental knowledge of drug names and drug classes
Required Skills/Experience  The rest of the required skills/experience. Include:
 Exceptional Customer Service
 Detail Oriented
 Ability to multi-task
 Willingness to accept change
Preferred Skills/Experience  Optional but preferred skills/experience. Include:
 Call center experience
 CMS knowledge
Education/Certifications  Include:
 CPhT preferred (Certified Pharmacy Tech licensed)

 High School Diploma
