Position Overview
The ELL Teacher will be responsible forworking with students who are non-native English speakers, helping them develop their language skills through engaging online lessons and activities. The ideal candidate will have experience with virtual teaching and a passion for supporting language acquisition in a culturally responsive manner. This position is full-time and includes a caseload of K-12th, but focuses on 4-12. Zoom and Google Meets can be utilized for this assignment.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors... degree in Education, TESOL, Linguistics, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
• Certification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) or a similar qualification.
• Experience teaching ELL students, preferably in a virtual setting.
• Proficient in using technology and online teaching platforms.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect with diverse learners.
• Knowledge of New Hampshires educational standards and guidelines for ELL instruction is a plus.
VocoVision Requirements
• Applicants must be comfortable working as an Independent Contractor
• Candidates will be required to pass a tech screening ensuring Wi-Fi, download speeds, and Zoom capabilities are proficient
• Contractors must obtain professional liability insurancebefore the beginning of assignment
