Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, and handling payroll.
Duties
 Process payroll for clients on a bi-weekly or monthly basis.
 Ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll taxes and reports.
 Maintain payroll records, including employee information and changes.
 Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare financial reports as... needed.
 Assist with general bookkeeping tasks, such as reconciling bank accounts and managing accounts payable/receivable.
 Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
 Respond to client inquiries regarding payroll issues and provide support as needed.
Requirements
 Proven experience as a Payroll Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
 Strong knowledge of payroll processes and relevant tax laws.
 Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
 Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
 Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
 Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.
 High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications:
 Experience with bookkeeping, payroll
 Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification.
 Experience working with multiple clients or in an accounting firm setting.
