Applications Systems Analyst I - EHRA - Early Career
The N.C. Department of Information Technology serves as the Technology Center for the State of NC, providing technology services to state agencies. The Applications Systems Analyst I role focuses on the maintenance and enhancement of database systems, offering development support for various applications and ensuring data integrity. Responsibilities Development, enhancement, and maintenance of custom n-tier applications systems using modern programming language such as ASP.NET, C#, Microsoft Blazor, HTML5, AJAX, JavaScript, JQuery, and/or DevExpress Use and development of relational database tables, views, stored procedures, and triggers to perform Create, Retrieve, Update, and Delete (CRUD) functions Meet state security requirements during application development and deployment Conversion and importation of legacy and/or current data from existing disparate systems Maintain and monitor data integrity of application databases Meet with subject matter experts to develop requirements for new or upgraded applications Skills Bachelor's degree in computer science or an IT related field from an appropriately accredited institution Or Associate degree in computer science or an IT related field or related technical degree from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of experience in business application consulting or development Or High School or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and four years of experience in business application consulting or development; or an equivalent combination of education and experience Development, enhancement, and maintenance of custom n-tier applications systems using modern programming language such as ASP.NET, C#, Microsoft Blazor, HTML5, AJAX, JavaScript, JQuery, and/or DevExpress Use and development of relational database tables, views, stored procedures, and triggers to perform Create, Retrieve, Update, and Delete (CRUD) functions Meet state security requirements during application development and deployment Conversion and importation of legacy and/or current data from existing disparate systems Maintain and monitor data integrity of application databases Meet with subject matter experts to develop requirements for new or upgraded applications Strong knowledge of database theory and design, SQL syntax, views, stored procedures, and user-defined functions Demonstrated web development skills using ASP.NET, Microsoft Blazor, and JavaScript Experience interacting with staff to obtain user requirements, review documentation, resolve issues relating to program documentation, and discuss options for problem resolution Company Overview The N.C.
