What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive activities like application security training, threat modeling, and security testing
- Identify and prioritize security practices to reduce overall security risk
- Provide application security guidance and oversight across teams
- Offer hands-on remediation guidance to development teams
- Influence the improvement and streamlining of the existing SDLC
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Experience working with development teams to build secure solutions
- Ability to break down complex systems and applications to find flaws
- Strong understanding of secure network and system design in AWS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- BA/BS in Computer Science or a closely-related degree
- Experience as an application security architect in an Agile environment
- Experience with various development, debugging, and application security tools
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in reading, writing, and auditing Java, Elixir, and JavaScript
- Experience working with distributed teams and cross-functional stakeholders
- Proactive, organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and persistent
