Job description: Overview:
This position ensures the technological and digital security of the Bank at a high level of ability and technical expertise. Discovers vulnerabilities and exposures to cyber threats in applications by means of manual penetration testing. Protects assets by recording the findings and tracking remediations. May act as lead on some assessments.
Responsibilities:
• Technical Security and Analysis – Uncovers potential security vulnerabilities in applications by performing manual penetration testing. Documents findings complete with evidence and recommended remediations. • Coordination - Assists in coordination of additional third party vendor services including scoping, scheduling and tracking. • Security Expertise - Maintains a current knowledge of technology, emerging threats, and security trends within the assigned technical area. Provides guidance on appropriate security protocols.
Leads technical projects and may serve as a resource to other business units. Ensures team members are trained on the current trends, threats, and applicable technologies. • Documentation – Supports the program by maintaining accurate documentation and reporting metrics. Supports exams and audits. • Business Strategy - Assists senior leadership in the development of security standards/strategies and program maturation. • Remote eligible. Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Network, or Information Security OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Network, or Information Security
Skill(s): Penetration Testing, Excellent communication and writing skills
