POSITION SUMMARY:
The Technician is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while servicing our products in the home. You will diagnose and repair all major appliances, manage spare parts inventory, and perform a number of other administrative tasks on a daily basis. Our technicians are the face of LG and will be expected to represent the company with the professionalism our customers have come to expect.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Travel offsite to customers' residences to perform maintenance and repair of LG's appliances to ensure top product performance.
Conducts technical diagnosis and perform repairs on a variety of electronics and home appliances
Assessing the extent of the problem, document findings, and make decisions to repair the product and/or replace parts
Immediately and accurately process paperwork and perform data entry upon completion of each job
Pre-screen future service calls by obtaining necessary information to help diagnose problem prior to arriving at customer’s home
Meet or exceed company metrics (customer satisfaction, fix right first time, revisits, parts management, On Time %
Note: Proper use of all safety equipment (PPE), vehicle and diagnostic tools provided by LG
Additional duties as assigned


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Minimum 2 years’ experience repairing major appliances (Laundry, cooking or cleaning products)
Experience in the use of tools and diagnostic test equipment
Ability to properly trouble-shoot, diagnose, repair and document product/system issues
Meet physical requirements generally associated with field service repair such as continuous bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
Must have a full, valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently.


Note: This posting is for an existing vacancy. The expected annual base salary range for this position is $50-55K + month incentive. Actual total compensation may include variable incentive pay. The determination of an applicant's base salary is based on the applicant's skills, competencies, location, and unique qualifications.
