Position Summary

Our Anti-Human Trafficking Manager, Domestic Operations assists in organizing and overseeing all Our Rescue Anti-Human trafficking related efforts within the United States. This role involves developing relationships with government representatives, law enforcement agencies, and other non-government/non-profit entities involved in combating human trafficking. The Anti-Human Trafficking Manager is responsible for ensuring continued training for staff in all areas of investigative operations. This position will oversee partnerships related to anti-human trafficking task forces and assist in the creation of new task forces in consultation with external partners and stakeholders. This role requires deep expertise in anti-human trafficking task force operations, including memoranda of understanding and information-sharing agreements, technical equipment and forensics support, operational standards, policies, and procedures within the United States.


Core Responsibilities

Assist in initiating, maintaining, and expanding Our Rescue’s efforts with regard to supporting domestic law enforcement agencies in the fight against human trafficking.Develop and maintain relationships with government representatives, law enforcement agencies, and other non-government entities.Travel extensively to further relationships.Take on additional management responsibilities as set forth by the VP of North America Operations.Advance and manage the Our Rescue’s Anti-Human Trafficking programs.Serve as a spokesperson for anti-human trafficking initiatives, conducting media interviews and responding to external inquiries in coordination with the Marketing and Communications team.Serve as a subject matter expert in vetting human trafficking training programs, advising law enforcement agencies on best practices, investigative techniques, victim-centered approaches, and operational standards.Help to develop, design, and continuously refine comprehensive anti-human trafficking curriculum and training programs for law enforcement, partner agencies, and community stakeholders, ensuring content is evidence-based, trauma-informed, mission-aligned, and reflective of current trends, legal standards, and best practices.Oversee the creation and strategic growth of human trafficking task forces, ensuring best practices and operational effectiveness.Create relationships with human trafficking task forces and similarly situated non-profits through surge operations.Work alongside internal teams, external agencies, and nonprofit organizations to foster a coordinated, impactful response to human trafficking.Evaluate agencies' needs and manage proposals related to human exploitation.Closely partner with adjacent Our Rescue departments to ensure a coordinated and impactful whole-of-organization approach to human trafficking crimes.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of fifteen (15) years of accredited law enforcement experience.5-10 years in anti-human trafficking law enforcement operations.Experience in supervising a human trafficking task force and working with a multidisciplinary team is preferred.Experience in managing federal and foundational human trafficking grants is preferred.Experience in public speaking and/or training law enforcement, first-responders, and community members.Ability to travel frequently.Ability to develop and implement strategies for task force creation and officer development.Ability to develop curriculum for law enforcement and the community.Familiarization with programs like Traffic Jam, Spotlight, Skipthegames.com etc.
