Answering Service Agent/Dispatcher -Guntersville, AL (Weekends)

Saturday & Sunday is required and will be the primary shift with extra opportunities available for fill-in during other shifts and days. DescriptionThis position is the voice of our company to our customers, employees, funeral homes, and those inquiring into our services. This position serves as the first point of contact for our customers and many of our employees. This position is a remote position, but you must reside in the Marshall County area. Responsibilities • Answer and screen incoming calls and send the appropriate messages to the customers, in accordance to company policy • Enter call information into computers systems and logs • Check on and track staff through online systems and using text messaging or phone calls • Schedule future transports in the appropriate systems.• Perform clerical duties, including filing and sorting. • Take messages and phone calls, and ensure they are texted, emailed, or forwarded to the appropriate person • Follow-up with customers, vendors, and others to ensure messages have been received • Represent our customers with a professional attitude and demeanor • Complete the appropriate logs and communications with management to resolve issues and conflicts Requirements • Great verbal and written communication skills • Proficient computer skills with understand of computer basics • Excellent typing skills • Excellent attention to detail • Ability to use bolthires Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time at a computer up to 12 hours daily.• Must be able to work independently or as a team. • Must be able to multi-task. • Must have great phone etiquette and manners.
