Ansible Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Ansible Specialist to join our client's IT/DevOps team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing build automation and maintenance tasks for our Windows Server-based IT infrastructure using Ansible Automation Platform, while adhering to all security and reliability principles.Details:Schedule: Full-time remote Duration: 50 man-days (approx. 2.5 months, adjustable with prolongation)Start: ASAPLanguages: English Key Responsibilities:• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules for automation of Windows Server configuration management and deployment processes.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency.• Monitor and troubleshoot Ansible deployments and playbook executions, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid issue resolution.• Create and maintain documentation for automation processes, procedures, and best practices.• Stay updated on the latest Ansible features and best practices and provide recommendations for improvements.• Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions for team members on Ansible usage and automation strategies.• Participate in the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes. Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience and knowledge in this field.• Proven experience as an Ansible Specialist or similar role, with a strong understanding of Windows automation concepts and Ansible Automation Platform.• Proficiency in writing Ansible playbooks and familiarity with Ansible Automation Platform (including AAP management).• Experience with Windows Server systems and scripting languages (e.g., Powershell, Python).• Knowledge of Azure cloud platform and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.• Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
