Our client is seeking an experienced Investment Banking Analyst specializing in the technology sector to join their team remotely from the NYC area. The role involves executing sell-side M&A transactions for tech companies valued between $100M to $1B, with a focus on SaaS and tech firms.
Responsibilities:
Ā Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling to support M&A transactions.
Ā Prepare and deliver presentations, pitch books, and other marketing materials.
Ā Perform industry and company research to identify potential acquisition targets.
Ā Assist in the due diligence process, including data room management and coordination with clients and other advisors.
Ā Develop and maintain relationships with clients, investors, and other stakeholders.
Ā Monitor and analyze market trends and developments in the technology sector.
Ā Support senior bankers in deal execution and client management.
Requirements:
Ā 1-3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, preferably with a focus on technology.
Ā Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
Ā Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ā Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ā Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Ā Familiarity with SaaS business models and the technology sector.
Ā Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ā Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
