Caltrans District 3 is seeking a Return to Work Coordinator to provide administrative, training, and analytical support for the Workers' Compensation and Return-to-Work Program. The role involves managing cases for employees with workers' compensation claims, consulting on medical issues, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure effective resolution of employment status. Responsibilities Consulting with employees, supervisors, and managers regarding medical issues, reasonable accommodation, return to work, and other related concerns Coordinating with various stakeholders regarding assigned cases Reviewing and interpreting medical reports to determine the most appropriate course of action Maintaining accurate and complete case documentation using electronic daim files housed in a shared network drive, spread sheets, and database Evaluating, authorizing, and/or recommending claim settlement solutions Facilitating resolution of employment status for employees unable to return to work in their usual occupation Utilizing good organization/time management techniques to appropriately prioritize and complete work in a timely and accurate manner Displaying a positive attitude, and cultivating a team environment to help accomplish the Division's Missions and Goals Skills Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment If you are basing your eligibility on education, you must include your unofficial transcript(s)/diploma for verification Unofficial, original, or official sealed transcripts will be accepted and may be required upon appointment Applicants with foreign transcripts/degrees must provide a transcript/degree U.S. equivalency report evaluation that indicates the number of units and degree to which the foreign coursework is equivalent The Statement of Qualifications (SQQ) serves as documentation of each applicant's ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing Each question must be numbered and addressed in the same order as the questions below The SQQ must be typed, no more than one page in length, and 12-point Arial font How has your education and experience prepared you for the duties of this position?
