About the position

The Finance Organization at Verizon is focused on building a world-class Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This role involves streamlining processes, improving systems, and providing strategic support to drive business growth. As a member of the FP&A Corporate and Business Unit Team, you will act as a business partner, contributing to pricing decisions, new initiatives, and the development of business case scenarios. Your work will involve analyzing financial data, tracking business trends, and providing insights into performance and risks.

Responsibilities
• Drive better business partnering and insights within the FP&A team.

• Participate in pricing decisions and new initiatives for product and service development.
,
• Perform research on business results of plans and forecasts.
,
• Capture data and financial information to update Business Plan Commitment View and Best View.
,
• Compile analysis of financial documents and track monthly business trends.
,
• Conduct variance analysis of financial results and Key Performance Indicators.
,
• Track cash flow performance and prepare budget reports.
,
• Assemble financial reporting and perform preliminary analysis.
,
• Provide financial data for the capital planning process.
,
• Analyze profitability and develop recommendations to address performance issues.

Requirements
• A Bachelor's degree or one or more years of work experience.

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
