Royal Caribbean team has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Financial Analyst reporting to the Financial Operations & Analysis Manager.

Position Summary

This is an opportunity to support financial management and incentive administration inside RCGs multi-branded contact centers. The role assists with defining metrics that will help align Trade Support & Services (TSS) with goals as set forth by organization leaders. Prepares and conducts annual financial planning, administers monthly G&A forecasts, oversees month end accounting, and generates monthly financial variance explanations. Assists with the management of branded TSS compensation and incentive programs. Prepares semi annual shift bid performance data to establish global scheduling for front line employees. This person must coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, and summarize relevant information to create budgets and forecasts and do ad-hoc analysis as needed to continuously improve Director, VP and SVP-level decision making in the multi-branded contact centers. The analyst maintains continuous contact with operating groups, including the team in Manila and Mexico, and keeps current on business developments and macroeconomic trends.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• * Prepares financial budget planning, analysis, month end accounting and variance explanations for all Royal, Celebrity and Shared brand TSS organizations
• Provide financial decision-making information by gathering and analyzing financial information
• Assists with managing branded TSS biweekly and quarterly incentive programs that drive performance of over 1,000 front line and supervisor contact center employees on key performance indicators
• Prepares month-end journal entries, including re-classes, accruals and prepaid entries.
• Ensures cost controls are in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley, accounting and other company policies
• Supports vendor contract evaluations and facilitates timely and accurate invoice processing.
• Develops and maintains monthly financial reports for Contact Center leadership and brand finance, to ensure visibility, transparency and adherence to budget
• Performs ad-hoc analysis and presentations as needed.
• Performs other duties as required.
• Assists with the management of $2.6M annual incentive compensation program for over 1,000 TSS front line employees and supervisors

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills
• * Bachelors degree in business, finance or in a technical field at a minimum
• Experience modeling complex financial or operational systems
• 1-3 years related experience
• Experience operating in a dynamic business environment
• Strong understanding of business principles
• Desire to learn and deliver business decision aids to operational leaders
• Demonstrated ability to apply critical thought to complex problems
• Must have excellent interpersonal, organization, verbal & written communication skills.
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must be detail oriented and able to apply critical thought to complex problems in order to identify optimal solutions.
• Must be able to work under tight timelines, prioritizing responsibilities as needed.
• Must work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to collaborate with peers and management; ability to work with all levels of an operational business area
• Accepts accountability and delivers results
• Must have ability to adapt to shifting priorities and align activities to meet organizational goals
• Prior experience with Essbase a plus
• Familiarity with Microsoft BI a plus
