AML Compliance Officer Crypto
## Key Duties and Responsibilities: Design and implement a tailored and effective Crypto AML Program in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, aligning with best industry practices and standards. Monitor developments, emerging trends, and best practices related to AML/CTF and cryptocurrencies at local, EU, and international levels. Identify ML/TF risks associated with cryptocurrency operations and propose solutions to mitigate these risks. Create, draft, review, and update internal AML/CTF policies, procedures, and processes. Lead the development and integration of software, tools, and risk management systems, including blockchain analytics and AML/CTF compliance platforms for cryptocurrency operations. Participate in and assist with regulatory inquiries, internal and external audits. Provide advice and support to other departments dealing with AML/CTF-related matters. Train staff on AML/CTF-related topics to enhance compliance awareness. Perform daily compliance operations, including customer due diligence and transaction monitoring. Identify and investigate suspicious transactions. Respond to any ad-hoc external and internal requests. Report internally and externally on ML/TF matters. ## Skills and Experience Required: A strong background in AML compliance with several years of experience in the cryptocurrency industry. Leadership and management experience, including coaching, performance assessments, and annual reviews.A deep understanding of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology, including knowledge of various cryptocurrency types (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum).Familiarity with cryptocurrency operations. Experience in developing and implementing a comprehensive AML Program tailored to the cryptocurrency industry, ensuring compliance with local and international laws and regulations.
