Our Team: The US Multi-National Sales team consists of six Directors of Business Development reporting to the Vice President. Our team operates across various territories in the US, focusing on driving strategic partnerships and new business acquisition to elevate business travel solutions for our clients. What You?ll Do: As a Director of Business Development, you will play a key strategic role in closing new sales and influencing the travel industry. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role with a focus on acquiring multi-national prospects across a US portfolio. Your responsibilities include: ? Driving the entire sales cycle, from prospect identification to deal closure. ? Representing the value proposition of Amex GBT with confidence and expertise. ? Setting the strategic direction for bids, proposals, and negotiations. ? Participating in key prospect meetings to secure top-line growth for the organization. ? Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver client-centric solutions. ? Building and maintaining strong relationships with industry leaders and stakeholders. What We?re Looking For: ? Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the travel or corporate solutions industry. ? Expertise in negotiating and closing large, complex deals. ? Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. ? Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on influencing at senior levels. ?
