AMC Math Teacher (Fully Remote)

Summary We are seeking experienced and passionate math teachers to join our ACE Academy Competition Track. This role is focused on preparing middle and high school students for AMC math. The ideal candidate will have deep subject-matter expertise, a proven record of success in competitive math coaching, and the ability to inspire students to achieve their fullest potential. What We Offer • Work from home • Competitive hourly pay based on experience ($35–$55/hour) • Consistent and reliable supplemental income • Flexible scheduling during peak hours • Structured competition-focused curriculum provided • Fun and interactive teaching environment • Online training and onboarding support • Referral bonus for each successful teacher referral About the Program • Curriculum Focus AMC 8, AMC 10, AMC 12, Algebra, Geometry, Contest Problem-Solving Strategies and more. • Class Format Small group classes (6 to 12 students) • Platform LingoAce Interactive Online Classroom • Student Level Advanced middle and high school students motivated to excel in competitive math Class Schedule • Trial Classes 55 minutes, fixed weekly schedule • Regular Classes 90 minutes per session, 18-week course structure • Peak Teaching Hours (EDT) – choose time slots that fit your availability • Weekdays 300 AM – 700 AM & 600 PM – 1000 PM • Weekends 1000 AM – 1200 PM & 700 PM – 1000 PM Key Responsibilities • Lead AMC 8 preparation classes guide students through practice problems, review solutions, and teach effective test-taking strategies • Teach advanced math concepts and problem-solving strategies relevant to AMC • Provide targeted feedback and coaching to help students excel in competitions • Monitor student progress and adapt instruction as needed • Communicate effectively with parents and students on goals and achievements Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred) • Minimum of 2 years teaching math; experience with AMC coaching highly preferred • Strong familiarity with competitive math formats (AMC, AIME, MathCounts, etc.) • Demonstrated success in training students for competitions • Excellent communication and online classroom management skills • Passion for teaching and mentoring advanced students • Fluent in English; eligible to work in the U.S., Canada, the U.K or Australia Compensation • $35–$55 per hour, based on qualifications and experience Application Process • Complete the Online Application Form • Take a Math Proficiency & Competition Knowledge Assessment • Participate in a Live Demo Lesson • Finalize onboarding and begin teaching Job Type Part-time Pay $35.00 - $55.00 per hour Application Question(s) • What is your email? • What is your highest level of education? • What is your major field of study? • Years of competition mathematics teaching experience (e.g., AoPS, AMC) • Do you hold a teaching license or certification issued by a state, province, school, or other recognized institution? • Which country did you attend high school and university in?
