As an Amazon Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe handling of inventory, managing waste, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate all ORMD spill-related activities, including clean-up, inventory reconciliation, and waste management
Conduct research, audits, and cycle counts to identify trends and reduce inventory losses
Develop and implement data collection processes and data management systems to track inventory and waste management metrics
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including local leadership and retail teams, to present data and drive process improvements
Ensure compliance with RCRA, DOT, and OSHA regulations, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment

Requirements:

Strong understanding of inventory control and systems in an automated Fulfillment Center
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and with multiple teams
Detail-oriented, with a drive to solve problems and demonstrate integrity and confidentiality
Technical skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, with an understanding of Lean principles and regulatory requirements (DOT, RCRA, and OSHA)
