Amazon Delivery Driver
Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the integrity of the products being transported.
Requirements
? My Be at least 23 years old.
? Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and at least 2 years of driving experience ; commercial driving experience is preferred.
? Must have a driving Record of with a Minimum 2 years in the United States or Canada
? Experience operating box trucks or vans;
? Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the day.
? Previous experience in delivery driving or warehouse operations is advantageous.
? Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in handling deliveries.
? Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
? Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
? Willingness to adapt to changing schedules and routes as necessary.
Responsibilities
? Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations.
? Load and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
? Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
? Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
? Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
? Handle heavy lifting and moving of packages, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
? Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, receipts, and any discrepancies.
? Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
