Position Overview The Customer Support Representative is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service through various communication channels — including phone, chat, and email. You will troubleshoot issues, answer product-related questions, process returns, and ensure every customer interaction reflects Amazon’s high service standards. This is an entry-level role that includes paid training, remote flexibility, and opportunities for advancement. Key Responsibilities • Handle inbound customer inquiries via phone, chat, and email in a professional and courteous manner. • Provide accurate and efficient solutions regarding orders, returns, refunds, billing, and account updates. • Use internal systems and databases to research and resolve customer issues. • Maintain a high level of product knowledge to provide informed support. • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to higher support levels when necessary. • Accurately document all customer interactions and resolutions. • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including response time, quality, and customer satisfaction. • Uphold Amazon’s values of trust, customer obsession, and operational excellence. Qualifications & Skills • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities. • Basic computer proficiency — ability to navigate multiple systems and applications. • Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace suitable for remote work. • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently. • Ability to handle high-volume interactions with professionalism and empathy. • No prior experience required — training will be provided. Preferred Qualifications (Not Required) • 1+ year of experience in customer service, call center, or retail support. • Familiarity with Amazon’s products, systems, or customer support tools. • Bilingual (English + Spanish or other language) a plus.
