Job Overview We are seeking highly experienced medical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), including Anesthesiologists, Radiologists, Psychiatrists, Ophthalmologists, and Neurologists, to join our team as AI Trainers. In this role, you will apply your clinical expertise to help train, evaluate, and refine advanced AI models used in real-world healthcare and medical research applications. This position offers a unique opportunity to directly influence the development of cutting-edge AI systems by translating complex medical knowledge into high-quality training data, clinical scenarios, and expert-level evaluations. Responsibilities • Collaborate with AI research and engineering teams to train and validate AI models using real-world, domain-specific medical knowledge • Design and review clinical scenarios, case-based prompts, and diagnostic reasoning challenges aligned with your specialty • Evaluate AI-generated outputs for clinical accuracy, safety, and reasoning quality • Provide expert feedback to improve model performance in areas such as diagnosis, treatment planning, clinical workflows, and medical decision-making • Identify gaps, errors, or inconsistencies in AI responses and contribute corrective guidance • Apply evidence-based medicine and current clinical standards to ensure outputs reflect real-world practice • Participate in continuous improvement efforts by analyzing model performance and recommending enhancements Qualifications • MD or DO with board certification or board eligibility in Anesthesiology, Radiology, Psychiatry, Ophthalmology, or Neurology • Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program (fellowship training preferred, depending on specialty) • 2+ years of post-training clinical experience • Strong understanding of clinical workflows, diagnostic reasoning, and patient care standards within your specialty • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking • Ability to clearly articulate complex medical concepts in written and verbal form • Comfort working with digital tools, structured documentation, and technical platforms Preferred Qualifications • Academic, teaching, or research experience • Experience creating clinical assessments, case studies, exam questions, or medical documentation • Prior involvement in healthcare technology, informatics, or AI-related initiatives This role is integral to advancing AI capabilities in healthcare by ensuring models are trained with accurate, expert-driven medical knowledge and real-world clinical insight.
