AI Systems Consultant – Healthcare E-Commerce Platform Review

We are an e-commerce company specializing in medical devices, durable medical equipment (DME), and healthcare consumer products. We are looking for an experienced AI consultant for a focused 3-5 hour engagement to review our AI-powered systems and provide actionable feedback. Our platform uses AI for product recommendations, customer support chatbot, and search functionality. Given that we sell regulated healthcare products, we want an expert to assess whether our current AI systems follow best practices for safety and compliance. Scope of work (3-5 hours): - Review our product recommendation engine logic and flag any concerns around medical product suggestions (e.g., contraindications, age restrictions) - Evaluate our customer service chatbot responses for accuracy when handling medical device inquiries - Assess data handling practices related to customer health information - Provide a brief written summary with prioritized recommendations Deliverable: A concise report (2-4 pages) identifying key risks, compliance gaps, and improvement priorities with actionable next steps. Requirements: - Experience with e-commerce AI systems (recommendations, chatbots, search) - Familiarity with healthcare product regulations (FDA guidelines for medical device sales, basic HIPAA awareness) - Ability to quickly identify high-priority issues and communicate them clearly This is a remote, one-time consultation.
