We are looking for an Assistant Manager of Training Delivery & Excellence for our People & Culture team. Must be willing to travel: This role is remote and requires occasional travel to any FreedomCare location nationally when necessary. Department & Position Overview: As we scale, we’re focused on improving how work gets done across operations and service delivery. AI will play a key role in reducing manual effort, improving decision making, and driving more consistent outcomes across these workflows. FreedomCare is a healthcare organization operating in a highly regulated environment, how we design and apply AI must also align with compliance, accuracy, and auditability requirements. We’re looking for a highly technical individual contributor to own how AI is applied across the business. The AI Prompt Engineer will focus on designing, building and optimizing prompts, agents and AI driven workflows implemented at the company. You will work across teams to integrate AI into real business processes to streamline processes, improve output quality, and reduce operational friction. This hands-on role is expected to both build and improve solutions. Everyday You Will: Apply AI to Core Business Workflows Identify and implement AI solutions across key areas Improve how teams handle high volume, repetitive tasks by embedding AI into existing processes Partner with business leaders to prioritize and solve operational bottlenecks Prompt Engineering & AI Optimization Design, test and refine prompts to drive accurate, consistent, and high-quality outputs from AI systems Build and optimize AI agents and copilots used by internal teams Analyze output quality and continuously iterate to improve performance, reliability, and alignment with business needs Build & Integrate Solutions Develop tools, automations and systems to support AI-driven workflows Integrate AI into existing platforms and tools using APIs and scripting Connect data sources and systems to enable end-to-end automation Drive Measurable Impact Define and track metrics to evaluate AI output quality and workflow performance (i.e. turnaround time, accuracy, throughout and team efficiency) Analyze results to identify gaps and continuously improve prompts, agents and workflows Quantify impact of AI solutions and communicate results to stakeholders Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with compliance requirements Enable Adoption Across Teams Partner closely with cross-functional teams to effectively implement solutions Train teams on how to use AI tools and embed them into daily workflows Document best practices and standardize how AI is used across the business What Success Looks Like You’ve identified and implemented high impact AI use cases within core workflows, reducing manual effort or turnaround time Teams are effectively using AI-enabled workflows you’ve built, with clear improvement in output quality and consistency You’ve established baseline metrics (i.e. accuracy, turnaround time, throughout) and can clearly demonstrate where AI is driving improvements AI outputs are not only faster, but reliable and consistent within a regulated environment, minimizing rework and downstream issues You’ve created a framework to approach identifying, testing, and scaling AI use cases across the business Ideal Candidate will Possess 5+ years of experience in software engineering, automation or technical solution roles Hands-on experience applying AI or LLMs to real world workflows (not just experimentation) Strong technical skills (Python, APIs, scripting, system integrations) Experience building internal tools, automations, or workflow solutions Ability to analyze outputs systematically improve performance Experience working with high-volume operations Nice to Have Experience with automation platforms Familiarity with AI agents, copilots, or workflow orchestration tools Experience working in healthcare, service operations, or other regulated environments Why work at FreedomCare? This provides our employees with the opportunity to professionally grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $100,000 and $125,000 per year at the commencement of your first year of employment. Compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors which may include, but are not limited to: skill set, years of relevant experience, education, location, and licensure/certifications. Compensation Range $105,000 — $125,000 USD
