AI-Powered E-Commerce Operator (Amazon Vendor Central / Retail Execution Lead)
About the Role
We’re relaunching an established consumer products business with existing retail relationships across Amazon, Walmart, Target, Wayfair, and direct-to-consumer channels—rebuilding the engine with a modern, AI-driven approach.
You will own the entire product execution pipeline from Salsify (PIM) → Amazon Vendor Central → retail portals → Shopify → AI-generated content → optimized listings.
There are no handoffs. You are responsible for getting products live and performing.
Core Responsibilities
· Own product setup via Salsify into Amazon Vendor Central and retail portals
· Optimize listings inside Vendor/Seller Central
· Build and iterate content using ChatGPT or Claude
· Generate product imagery using Midjourney, Firefly, or DALL·E
· Execute across Walmart, Target, Wayfair, Overstock
· Support and manage product content within Shopify (including Hofy or similar environments)
· Ensure consistency of product data, imagery, and messaging across retail and DTC channels
· Troubleshoot listing, feed, and catalog issues independently
Core Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
· Hands-on Amazon Vendor Central experience
· Experience with Salsify or comparable PIM
· Active AI workflows (ChatGPT/Claude + image tools)
· Amazon SEO and conversion knowledge
· Basic design/content refinement capability
· Comfort in fast-paced, small-team environments
Additional Experience (Strong Plus)
· Experience with Shopify or Shopify-based environments (e.g., Hofy)
· Understanding of DTC vs retail content strategy
· Ability to align product content across Shopify and Amazon/Walmart ecosystems
Environment
High autonomy. Small, nimble team. Startup execution speed inside an established business.
Confidential relaunch – discretion required.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
