AI-native Integration Developer - Marketplace (f/m/d) - Remote in Germany

Remote Full-time
Looking to work with cutting-edge engineering software? What if you could work with all of them?

WHAT YOU WILL DO
At Synera, we build an agentic automation platform for engineers that helps them create better products faster. Our software connects engineering tools, data, and people, enabling teams to automate complex workflows and focus on what really matters: solving hard engineering problems. We already have 80+ software integrations, ranging from the biggest players to the latest startups, and we're just getting started.
We're looking for an Integration Developer who truly understands engineering and who uses AI as a natural part of how they work, not an afterthought.
This role sits at the intersection of software development, partner collaboration, and engineering system implementation: you'll own the development of add-ins and integrations within our agentic platform, be the first dedicated technical member of our new Marketplace team, and work closely with Andrew, our VP of Software Partnerships, who leads the marketplace roadmap and relations with over 25+ different software partners. You'll work with a wide range of technologies – CAD tools, simulation solvers, PLM systems, and AI – and you'll have the autonomy to make technical decisions and own integration projects with 3rd parties from end to end.

👉 What a week at Synera could look like:
Monday: You join the weekly all-hands to align on company updates, followed by the developer meeting to share progress, questions, and technical insights.

Tuesday: After the morning stand-up, you dive into a partner call to help their developers plan their integration with Synera and ensure they build a solid foundation.

Wednesday (biweekly): You do backlog refinement and team retrospective to clarify tasks, estimate effort, and improve workflow. In the afternoon, you will work on AI skills to help you speed up the development of integrations by you and our partners.

Thursday (biweekly): Sprint review day - you demo the past two weeks' progress on the latest add-in to the internal team and get feedback on some improvements to make. Afterwards, sprint planning defines the next sprint's scope and clarifies any remaining questions.

Friday: Andrew invites you to join a customer call, for you to understand more deeply the customer’s PLM environment to help improve one of our existing integrations. In the afternoon, you use your unlimited Claude budget to experiment with anew AI workflow.

The rest of the week’s time is protected focus time: writing code, reviewing Bitbucket pull requests and pushing real value to production.

⚡ In 6 months:
You deliver customer-facing value regularly through integration projects.

⚡ In 12 months:
You have a growing ownership of complex integrations, especially in the PLM space, you mentor peers, and contribute to architecture and product decisions.

Here is our team at the summer event - join us at the next one! 👋

🌱 WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
We believe in transparent conversations about compensation from the start. For this role, our planned annual salary ranges are:
Experienced Level: 67,000 - 85,000 EUR

Advanced Level: 80,500 - 109,000 EUR

We determine the level we hire for based on your experience, the scope of responsibilities you’ll take on, and the impact you can drive. While we typically hire within these bands, we're open to some flexibility for candidates who bring exceptional value to the role.
Check out this page to learn how we approach salary, career growth, and creating an environment where everyone can shine.

What we offer beyond salary:
With the high level of ownership, you make a real impact on our Synera software.

Flexible working: you decide when & where to work (as long as you have a residency in Germany).

Flexible public holidays: swap days off according to your values and beliefs!

Home office setup support + access to our office in Bremen.

Personal development budget of €2,000 to attend conferences and trainings or buy interesting books to improve in an area of your choice.

We don't count your vacation days, as we trust all our team members to decide what's best for them and the company.

Prefer two wheels over four? 🚲 We’ve got you covered with JobRad.

To support your personal and professional well-being, we offer company fitness with Wellpass and mental health platform nilo.

Regular team events, virtual coffee breaks, and spontaneous afterworks. We also get together as a whole company for 2-3 day off-sites twice a year! 🌈

🚀 WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Even if you don't meet these criteria perfectly but believe you have lots to bring to the role, we encourage you to apply. We know it's tough, but please keep in mind that you don't have to match all the listed requirements exactly to be considered for this role.
You resonate with Synera's Core Values - they're central to how we work, and we'll explore them together in your first interview.

You have a deep understanding of developing add-ins, plugins or integrations for complex software systems.

You’ve got the AI-native mindset and curiosity to constantly learn and develop your skills in this area.

You bring hands-on experience with PLM, SPDM, or MES platforms.

You bring strong proficiency in C# and C++, with solid algorithmic and logical thinking skills.

You're comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy – communicating directly with partners, making technical decisions, and owning projects from start to finish.

You are a strong communicator in English with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

P.S. Synera is a place where everyone can grow. So, however you identify and whatever background you bring with you, please apply if this is a role that would make you excited to come to work every day, and be prepared to share with us how your perspective will bring something unique and valuable to our Marketplace team.
