AI Infrastructure DC Design Engineer I
The DHD Engineer Level 1 is responsible for supporting simple data hall infrastructure designs and drafting activities under the guidance of senior engineers. This role focuses on developing foundational technical skills, learning design standards, and supporting project execution for low-complexity environments.
Key Responsibilities
β Create and update simple AutoCAD drawings and layouts for cabinets, rack elevations, structured cabling, and basic infrastructure components.
β Support data hall design documentation, asset tracking, and drawing revisions.
β Assist with capacity planning and basic infrastructure assessments.
β Follow established design standards, templates, and operational procedures.
β Coordinate with internal engineering teams to gather project requirements and updates.
β Participate in quality reviews and incorporate feedback from senior engineers.
β Maintain accurate project documentation and design records.
β Learn data center design principles, cabling standards, and operational best practices.
Scope & Complexity
β Works on low-complexity projects with clearly defined requirements.
β Requires close supervision and technical guidance.
β Limited decision-making authority.

β Basic understanding of data center infrastructure concepts.
β Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
β Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
β Associate or Bachelorβs degree in Engineering, IT, or related field preferred.
Salary Range
$83,520.00 - $104,400.00 USD (Salary)Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.
Further, the salary information noted above is a range that consists of a minimum and maximum rate of pay for this specific position. Where an applicant or employee is placed on this range will depend and be contingent on objective, documented work-related considerations like education, experience, certifications, licenses, preferred qualifications, among other factors.
