This role involves contributing to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software products while ensuring compliance with industry standards.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy software solutions that meet the needs of our fintech productsUtilize programming languages, frameworks, and tools to build scalable, secure, and reliable software applicationsParticipate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, maintain code quality, and identify areas for improvementPerform thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to resolve issues promptlyContribute to the design and architecture of software systems, focusing on scalability, performance, and maintainabilityWork closely with senior engineers to implement robust and efficient solutionsStay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in fintech and software developmentSuggest and evaluate new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance the team's efficiency and product offeringsEngage in effective communication with team members, stakeholders, and other departments to understand project requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment on goals and timelinesDemonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and improvementIdentify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and optimize software performanceEnsure that all software developed complies with industry security standards and regulatory requirementsImplement necessary security measures to protect sensitive financial dataCreate clear and comprehensive technical documentation for developed software, including APIs, code documentation, and user guidesSkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fieldDemonstrated proficiency with both off-the-shelf and custom AI tools utilizing LLMs, Agentic AI, MCP, and prompt engineeringDemonstrated proficiency in one or more object-oriented programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScriptUnderstanding of REST APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and CI/CD pipelinesFamiliarity with software development methodologies, version control systems, and project management toolsSolid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principlesStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issuesExcellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentMaster's degree is a plus but not requiredCompany OverviewBillGO is changing the status quo with a modern bill managements and payments platform.
