Our mission is to ensure that creators can fully control their creative process with AI, providing them with innovative tools to turn ideas into reality.If you’re passionate about pushing the boundaries of AI, we want you on board!About the RoleYou’ll work at the intersection of design and machine learning, applying our model to real creative scenarios to uncover where it works, where it fails, and how it can improve.We’re looking for practicing designers who work from real briefs, references, and constraints — not artificial prompt experiments.Your taste, judgment, and ability to define quality will directly shape how the model evolves.Key ResponsibilitiesApply generative models to real-world design scenarios, including editorial illustration, marketing visuals, product imagery, brand assets, and early-stage concept ideationEvaluate generated outputs to identify quality gaps, edge cases, and opportunities for improvement, documenting findings clearly and constructivelyCurate high-quality, rights-cleared reference images and articulate why each reference represents a strong target for the intended use caseCompare and rank generated images using defined criteria such as composition, visual quality, consistency, and usability within product or marketing contextsSource and curate image sets from permitted and licensed sources that reflect contemporary visual trends and broadly recognized style categoriesDevelop realistic use-case scenarios with clear objectives, constraints, and desired outcomes to guide model evaluation and iterationQualifications3+ years of professional experience as a designer, illustrator, art director, or visual creativeA portfolio with recent and relevant workStrong visual taste and aesthetic judgmentExperience working with real design briefs and constraintsAbility to clearly explain why one visual solution is better than anotherComfort using experimental tools and providing structured feedbackHands-on experience with AI image tools (and ideally chat-based AI)Nice to HaveBackground in branding, marketing, editorial, product design, or illustrationAgency or studio experience across multiple brandsFreelance experience across diverse projectsInterest in AI, generative models, or creative toolingWhat We OfferFull-time or part-time remote work (minimum ~20 hours/week)Work on real problems at the frontier of design and MLHelp shape next-generation creative AI toolsCompetitive salary
