AI Automation Tech Lead - Real Estate (Remote)
We are seeking a highly experienced Tech Lead having 8+ years of hands-on AI Automation experience to drive the development of an AI product. This pivotal role is primarily an Individual Contributor (IC) position focused on leveraging expertise in the workflow framework for complex data extraction and automation pipelines. The lead will work directly with the Business Consultant to translate requirements, provide deep technical direction to the development team, actively solve technical challenges, and personally contribute to building the most critical and complex components of the solution. Key Roles and Responsibilities The AI Automation Tech Lead will be responsible for the following core activities: Collaborate with the Business Consultant to thoroughly understand and clarify client requirements, translating them into detailed technical specifications and scalable architecture designs. Define the technical strategy, standards, and best practices for building robust, high-volume data extraction and integration workflows. Serve as the primary technical expert and an active Individual Contributor, personally developing the most complex and critical AI automation workflows, custom nodes, and underlying automation scripts. Provide ad-hoc technical guidance and mentorship to the development team on n8n implementation, custom coding, and integration patterns. Act as the go-to technical expert to quickly resolve developers' technical doubts, troubleshoot complex workflow issues, and eliminate immediate project roadblocks. Design and implement integration logic between n8n workflows and various AI services or models (e.g., for data classification, cleansing, or validation). Manage the deployment, monitoring, and scaling of automated workflows in a production cloud environment. Required Skills and Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of expert-level technical skills in automation and hands-on leadership: 8+ years of experience in software development or technical architecture, with a focus on data pipelines and system integration. Proven experience operating in an Individual Contributor (IC) capacity while simultaneously providing technical leadership. Experience working with data-intensive projects for US clients, preferably in the Real Estate domain. Expert proficiency and extensive hands-on development experience with the workflow automation framework for complex data handling, transformations, and system integrations. Advanced Node.js/TypeScript experience for custom logic, APIs, and n8n custom nodes. Frontend: Solid experience with React for building internal tools, dashboards, or workflow-related UI components. Deep understanding of API design (REST/GraphQL), webhooks, microservices architecture, and data extraction techniques (scraping, parsing). Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript for creating custom automation scripts, serverless functions, and integration logic.
