AI Automation Specialist
AI Automation Specialist (Mid‑ to Senior‑Level, Remote, US hours) Build intelligent workflows with global impact. We're seeking a mid to senior-level Automation Designer / Developer to join our remote team and help deliver AI-powered automation solutions to our US-based clients. You'll design workflows in workflow tools (e.g n8n), integrate LLM APIs, design prompts and data flows, and translate business needs into scalable, automated processes. This role blends technical automation skills with strong business analysis and client communication. You'll work directly with product and operations teams, so we're looking for someone confident in understanding business requirements and delivering elegant, efficient solutions. What You’ll Be Doing • Translate client and internal business needs into clear automation specifications and workflow logic. • Design and build robust automation workflows using tools like n8n or Power Platform (e.g. AI Builder) as the orchestration layer. • Develop and refine prompts for generative AI use cases (summarization, data transformation, structuring, decision logic). • Integrate APIs, webhooks, and LLM tools (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic) into end‑to‑end automation solutions. • Automate business operations using Airtable, Slack, Google Workspace, CRMs, and Power Platform tools. • Lead testing, documentation, and iterative improvement of workflows. • Contribute to team methodology and best practices in intelligent automation delivery. • Collaborate effectively with US‑based clients and internal product/operations teams—requires strong spoken and written English. What You Should Have • 2–5+ years of experience in automation, workflow design or integrations. • Proven production experience using n8n, Power Automate, or similar workflow automation tools. • Ability to translate business requirements into functional automation designs. • Expertise in API work: JSON, webhooks, authentication, error handling. • Experience with Airtable automations, scripting and formulas. • Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI/Anthropic) and prompt engineering fundamentals. • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken). Bonus Points • Background in BPO, tech consulting, or client-facing support with U.S. clients. • Experience designing structured AI workflows. • Comfort working with globally distributed, remote teams. • Agile or iterative delivery experience.
