AI Automation Engineer - n8n • GHL • APIs (Long-Term Role)

I run a small but fast-growing AI infrastructure company. A lot of our work revolves around full automation workflows, API integrations, and AI-driven processes for clients. With more projects coming in, we're looking for a reliable technical partner who can help me fulfill the build side consistently. We're looking for someone who’s solid technically, communicates well, and can build reliable systems. You should be comfortable picking up a scoped project, collaborating on the approach, and carrying it through to completion without a lot of back-and-forth. This isn’t a single task - I’m looking to build a small, steady group of people I can bring into Slack, share upcoming projects with, and hand off milestones to as work comes in. What You’ll Work On Not limited to but often includes: - Building automations and backend workflows using n8n, Make, GHL workflows, or custom integrations - Connecting APIs, datasets, and third-party platforms - Designing and implementing LLM-powered steps (prompting, agentic logic, decision frameworks, routing, QA) - Creating reliable, maintainable system architecture rather than quick hacks - Helping me refine technical scopes before building What I’m Looking For - Strong understanding of automation tools (n8n, GHL are a focus!) - Ability to work with APIs, auth flows, and structured JSON data - Experience with AI-driven workflows (LLMs, embeddings, reasoning, agents, etc.) is a big plus - Communicative, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of a full build - Able to join occasional client calls if needed (not required, but helpful) - More interested in long-term collaboration than transactional one-off tasks - Reliability and clarity matter more than racing to the lowest price Why This Might Be a Fit - I have multiple projects in the pipeline and frequently bring in new work - I prefer working with the same people long-term - I respect developers’ time and communicate cleanly - You’ll get clear milestones, clear expectations, and a steady flow of meaningful work How to Apply Send: 1) A short intro 2) 1-2 examples of an advanced automation or system you’ve built 3) Tools you’re strongest in (n8n, GHL, APIs, AI workflows, etc.) 4) Availability (hours/week) Apply tot his job
