AI Automation Engineer for Med Spa (Chatbot + CRM + Lead Conversion System)
We are a medical spa looking to build an AI-powered system to automate lead capture, qualification, booking, and follow-up across Instagram, Facebook, website chat, and SMS.
This is not a generic chatbot project. We are building a **production-grade AI concierge and conversion system** that directly impacts revenue.
Project Scope (Phase 1 – MVP)
We need an experienced engineer to build an AI system that can:
1. Lead Intake & Qualification**
Capture and respond to inbound leads from:
Instagram / Facebook DMs
Website chat
SMS
Ask structured questions to identify:
service interest (Emsculpt, Emsella, IV therapy, skin treatments, PRP)
• client goals
• readiness/timing
• objections
• Output structured data (JSON) for CRM
2. Conversion & Booking Engine**
• Guide qualified leads toward consultation booking
• Personalize responses based on user goals and segments (e.g., postpartum, busy professionals)
• Integrate with CRM (GoHighLevel or similar)
• Generate booking links and track status
3. Follow-Up Automation**
• Automated follow-ups for:
• uncooked leads
• no-shows
• inactive clients
• Messaging should be short, personalized, and goal-based (not spammy)
4. System Requirements**
• LLM integration (OpenAI or similar)
• Backend (FastAPI, Node.js, or equivalent)
• Modular architecture (we will expand this system)
• Logging, error handling, and structured outputs required
What We Are NOT Looking For
• No-code-only chatbot builders
• Generic "ChatGPT wrapper" solutions
• Overengineered systems with unnecessary infrastructure
What We ARE Looking For**
Strong experience building
AI agents/automation workflows**
Experience with:
• APIs and integrations
• CRM systems
• structured outputs (JSON)
• Ability to build **simple, reliable, production-ready systems**
• Clear communicator who can explain technical decisions
• Experience with healthcare or wellness businesses
• Experience with lead generation/conversion systems
Project Structure
This will start as a 2–3 week paid MVP project.
If successful, this can expand into a long-term role building:
• advanced automation
• analytics
• clinical/research workflows
