AI Automation Developer to Build Custom Claudebot System (APIs, Scraping, Reports) - Contract to Hire
I’m looking for an experienced automation developer to help build a custom AI-powered bot system for my business that will be used across multiple clients and projects. The goal is to create a scalable AI assistant (Claudebot) that can: -Monitor and collect data from websites and other sources -Integrate with third-party services and APIs -Analyze collected data using AI (Claude or similar) -Generate automated reports, alerts, and insights -Support multiple clients under one centralized system This will start with a Website Health Checker module and expand into a broader automation and AI workflow platform. Core Responsibilities -Build a Python or Node.js based automation system -Implement web scraping and crawling functionality -Integrate various APIs (Google APIs and others) -Connect AI APIs (Claude or similar) for analysis and content generation -Design a multi-client structure and configuration system -Set up scheduled tasks and automation workflows -Create report outputs (files, email, dashboards, or API endpoints) -Maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code Required Skills -Strong experience with Python or Node.js -Web scraping and crawling experience -API integration experience -Experience working with AI APIs (Claude, OpenAI, etc.) -Task scheduling and automation experience -Basic cloud deployment and DevOps knowledge -Ability to build scalable, well-structured systems Nice to Have (Bonus) -Experience building automation or monitoring platforms -Knowledge of reporting or dashboard tools -SEO or digital marketing data experience -Experience with alert and notification systems (email, Slack, Discord, etc.) Project Scope (Initial Phase) Phase 1 -Multi-client bot framework -Website health and data collection module -AI-generated summary reports Phase 2 (future expansion) -Additional API integrations -Automated alerts and workflows -Advanced reporting and analytics Ideal Freelancer -Enjoys building automation systems and platforms -Understands clean architecture and scalability -Communicates clearly and proactively -Comfortable combining AI, scraping, and APIs To Apply -Examples of automation or AI systems you’ve built -Experience with API integrations -Experience using AI APIs in real projects -Your suggested tech stack for this project Apply tot his job
