About the role
Element Roofing is building a company-owned automation and intelligence platform that captures every lead, follows up relentlessly and intelligently, books appointments, and gives leadership verified answers about sales, marketing, and financial performance from a single source of truth. We're looking for an AI Architect to own the design, build, validation, and handoff of these systems. This is a senior, accountable role: you'll set the technical direction, make and document architectural decisions, and deliver systems that are correct, compliant, and maintainable by our team long after the build.
What you'll own
Translate our implementation blueprint into sequenced technical work and deliver against clear 30/60/90-day milestones.
Build a GoHighLevel lead follow-up and automation engine — multi-channel outreach (SMS, email, AI voice), conversational AI that books and handles objections, lifecycle funnels, and rep routing.
Build a layered AI knowledge base ("business brain") that answers questions with cited sources, integrating Loom/Drive content, JobNimbus, QuickBooks, and ad-platform data.
Build performance and objection dashboards, a lead-scoring/routing model, and end-to-end marketing attribution from ad click to closed revenue.
Validate every system against real data before expanding it, and hand off each with documentation so our team can run and edit it independently.
What we're looking for
Strong experience architecting and shipping AI-driven automation and data integration systems in production.
Hands-on with API integrations (e.g., GoHighLevel, JobNimbus, QuickBooks, Meta/Google Ads), webhooks, and scheduled data pipelines into a central database.
Experience building LLM/assistant query layers and retrieval over documents and business data.
A practical, validate-before-expanding mindset; comfortable calibrating models against real cases and reconciling outputs to trusted reports.
Knowledge of SMS/A2P compliance, PII handling, and least-privilege data security.
Clear communicator who documents decisions, demonstrates working systems, and escalates trade-offs early.
How we work
Fast and deliberate, with a weekly review cadence, concise async updates, and acceptance by demonstrating systems running in production. You'll own the platform's direction while keeping it transparent, auditable, and fully company-owned.
