These four entities are:Forestry & Utility DivisionEnvironmental DivisionTechnology & Innovation DivisionSustainability DivisionJOB SUMMARY: The Agricultural Engineer provides technical support and engineering planning, design, and installation to the conservation, watershed, livestock facility, and wetland workload. The position shall provide leadership and direction, potentially direct and indirect, within the engineering team.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions:Maintains a working knowledge adequate to carry out work assignments for all conservation, watershed, livestock facility, and wetland engineering projectsPerforms, trains, and provides guidance for site investigations, topographic survey, AutoCAD Civil 3D work, and data collectionPrepares, provides training, provides guidance, and reviews engineering designs which includes design report, plan sheets, specifications, calculations, and other supporting documentationPerforms, trains, and guides on quality assurance to ensure constructed projects meet or exceed designed expectations. Recommends changes as needed for a successful projectWorks directly and in cooperation with private landowners, private / governmental groups, and permitting agencies. Communicate project goals and expectations to all project stakeholdersWorks within a team concept to develop and implement ways to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of the products and/or services provided to clientsPerforms duties in a manner supportive of a safe and healthy work environment, and exercises safety precautions when exposed to dangerous objects, chemicals, extreme temperatures, etc.Attend conferences/events and present at events as a technical expert representing the CompanyPerforms other duties as assigned or relatedOTHER DUTIES: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
