Genesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Scrum Master with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12 month + contract position.
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Using agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, estimate, manage, and deliver solutions
ā¢ Champion and embody the Agile way-of-life across the development teams
ā¢ Encourage and support iterative and collaborative development
ā¢ Training, mentoring, and supporting scrum teams to follow agile values, principles, and practices
ā¢ Determining and managing tasks, issues, risks, and action items
ā¢ Scheduling and facilitating scrum events, meetings, and decision-making processes
ā¢ Monitoring progress and performance and helping teams to make improvements
ā¢ Sprint Planning and organizing demos and product/system testing
ā¢ Ensuring the proper use of collaborative processes and removing impediments for the scrum team
ā¢ Tracking project processes, deliverables, and releases
ā¢ Preparing and presenting status reports to stakeholders
Requirements:
ā¢ 10+ years PMP, 10+ years Certified Scrum Master (minimum), SAFe preferred
ā¢ Strong familiarity to core Agile Values and modern software engineering techniques
ā¢ 15+ years of experience as a TPM or in a similar role
ā¢ 10+ years as a certified scrum master
ā¢ Expertise in Lean, Kanban, Scrum and other similar Frameworks
ā¢ Leadership and management experience
ā¢ Excellent people and project management skills
ā¢ Ability to shape strong presentations and narratives that influence people to change
ā¢ Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education and experience
ā¢ Strong knowledge and experience with leading and implanting CI/CD concepts
ā¢ Able to manage large scale deployment for enterprise (internal and external cloud)
ā¢ Java/J2EE
ā¢ Python/Ansible
ā¢ Monitoring software like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, etc.
ā¢ Agile development
ā¢ Technical agility
Pay Range: $80.92-$88.92
