Join the Farmers Insurance - Leah Smith Agency, a dynamic, top performing and growing agency dedicated to excellence and passionate about helping clients protect what matters most. We are looking for a motivated individual to become an Agent Trainee. This role not only allows you to excel in sales but also offers hands-on experience in agency operations, paving the way for a future in agency ownership.
Alongside your sales duties, youll work closely with the agency owner to gain a deep understanding of what it takes to run a successful agency. This position is tailored to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to eventually transition into owning your own agency.
Salary: $40000.00 - $60000.00 per year

Responsibility
Connect with and build relationships with current and prospective customers
Educate people on insurance needs and products via outbound phone calls
Reach out to insurance consumers and help inform them on available insurance options
Ensure accurate and timely completion of all necessary paperwork.
Address client inquiries and concerns promptly.
Training and Skill Development
Actively engage in training sessions and workshops.
Work closely with Mentor Agent and the District Office.
Continuously expand your insurance knowledge and sales expertise.
Complete online modules and hands-on training.
Requirements
What does training look like?
We provide hands-on training where you will complete online modules, product training, engage in role plays, and have feedback/coaching one on ones to help you succeed!
What does growth look like?
This agency is growth oriented! A career here can include specialized insurance roles, leadership roles or even an opportunity to own your own Farmers Agency.
Is this commission only?
No We provide an insurance industry competitive base salary with uncapped commission and additional bonus opportunities.
Will I have to purchase my own leads?
No! We have no shortage of leads that are provided for our salespeople.
Should I apply if I dont currently have an insurance license?
Yes, you should still apply as we will help assist you with the licensing process. We do require an active P&C and L&H license for this position. You need to able to obtain within a specified timeframe.
