Agency Loan Administrator I

The role involves supporting multifamily mortgage loan closings and ensuring high-quality service to internal and external clients while managing multiple transactions simultaneously.ResponsibilitiesMaintain communication with customers, transaction team, third party vendors to ensure task completion for proper and timely closingReview and prepare search request form for UCC, Tax Lien, Judgement, Bankruptcy searches. Prepare loan documentation as may be necessary, including initial drafts of various documents for review by Closing OfficerAssist closing officer in verifying underwriting and funding conditions are signed off prior to settlementConfirm loan information in all systems is accuratePrepare an initial draft of the lender's settlement statement, including confirming all lender costs are appropriately and accurately reflectedMaintain loan files to ensure required file audit documents are storedAssist in coordinating loan funding logisticsAssist in coordinating loan file delivery requirementsCoordinate post-closing delivery to Borrower of final loan documents/reportsMeet established productivity levels and turn-around times as set by the ManagerVerbally verify wire instructions with Title companies for loan fundingsNotarization of loan documents for Closing OfficersMeet strict deadlines while maintaining high-quality service for internal partnersEnsure meticulous attention to detail in all closing activitiesAssist Closing Officer with collaboration between Underwriting and Closing Counsel to collect legal due diligence for rate lock and closingSuccessfully upload Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac legal due diligenceConsistently track closing-related rate lock and closing due diligenceEfficiently handle post-closing exceptionsSkillsHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalent certificationAt least 1 year of experience in financial services, operations, or in a law firmMust be able to handle the pressure of 30-40 transactions simultaneouslyMust be capable of maintaining a high quality of service to internal and external clients/partnersMust be able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines while maintaining a high quality of serviceMust have superior customer service skillsMust be detail oriented, organized and self-motivatedA secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractionsA reliable private internet connection that is not supplied via cellular data or hotspotA private network that is password protected where you have ownership or line of sight to every device on the networkInternet service must be provided by Cable or fiber Internet Service Provides (ISP)ISP download speeds on VPN must be at least 5Mbps, with 10+ Mbps preferredBoth Hardwire and WiFi internet connections are acceptable as long as speed and security requirements are metCandidates must live within approximately 50 miles of one of the hub locations based in 22102 and be comfortable coming in person whenever required with no less than 24 hours noticeBachelor's Degree or Military experience2+ years of experience in commercial real estate or financial servicesBenefitsCapital One offers a comprehensive, competitive, and inclusive set of health, financial and other benefits that support your total well-being.Company OverviewCapital One is a financial services company that provides banking, credit card, auto loan, savings, and commercial banking services.
