What does a successful Product Advisor do at Fiserv?
The Product Advisor is responsible for product definition and design of digital journeys for digital banking platform. Working closely with other Product Owners/Managers to define the product roadmap, define product features, prioritize initiatives. Work with the development and test teams to ensure the product is developed as per the specifications. The Product Manager will be working on building a digital banking platform enabling FIs to provide capability to their retail and business customers to use digital banking channels to transact and manage their accounts. What will you do:
• Facilitate strategic planning sessions with project sponsor and product development team to finalize the scope and objectives of the project
• Experience in handling and understanding complex architecture and design; Can work with to Architect group for problem solving in collaborative manner; at times handle the architecture level decision and creation
• Understand project stakeholders needs, interests, and influence positively for project success
• Facilitate sessions with product functional managers to finalize the effort estimates for the scope of the project
• Should coordinate all ongoing project tasks with onsite business partners, business consultants and end customers as required.
• Initiate/implement best practices to improve delivery quality
• Conducts code reviews for code developed by team members and provide constructive feedback
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and issue resolution skills
• Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Credit Union domain knowledge is a plus
What you will need to have:
• Knowledge of Retail and SMB Banking
• Knowledge of various USA payment systems and Regulations – ACH, Wires
• Experience in Product Definition
• Experience in Product Requirement Documentation/BRDs
• Familiar with JIRA
• Experience in User Story documentation and Grooming
• Understanding of APIs and ability to define API specs
• Experience in Testing Good understanding of how technology relates to business, market and industry and applies such knowledge to support the needs of the business
• Understanding of Business Architecture and Functional Architecture
What would be great to have:
• Certifications such as CSPO, PSPO
• Experience in working with Agile methodology
