With an elite team of plastic surgeons across the U.S. and a family of over 80,000 satisfied patients, we're on a mission to make beauty accessible to all.Mia Aesthetics provides on-the-job training, professional development opportunities, opportunities for advancement, benefit offerings, and more.Be a part of a team transforming lives and supporting dreams every day!RequirementsThe Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) has advanced graduate education and clinical training and provides comprehensive post-operative care services in compliance with state regulations and under the supervision of a collaborating physician.Obtains history and physical information from the patientFunctions independently to perform post-operative careOrders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patients age-specific needsPrescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalitiesImplements interventions to support the patient to regain or maintain physiologic stability, including but not limited to serving in the first assisting roleAssists in the provision of surgical care in accordance with the facility, state, federal regulations, and accrediting bodyMonitors the effectiveness of interventionsFacilitates the patients transition within and between healthcare settings. (example: admitting, transferring, and discharging patients)Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referralsFacilitates staff, patient and family decision making by providing educational toolsProvides patient educationOn-call on weekends via a rotating scheduleRequirementsMaster or Doctorate Degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantAPRN License or PA License with active NPI (National Provider Identifier)At least 1 year of advanced experience or a comparable position in a hospital and/or clinical settingBLS/ACLS CertificationBilingual in English and Spanish preferred
