Position Summary We are looking for an exceptional Advanced Math Instructor and Tutor to create an engaging and productive learning experience for students. As a key member of our team, you will provide one-on-one and group instruction, develop strong relationships with parents, and contribute to a collaborative and supportive learning environment. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional instruction and tutoring services to students of varying skill levels and learning styles Participate in positive interactions with parents and establish a high level of confidence and program value Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes Teach in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices Assess students' progress throughout instructional sessions and work collaboratively with team members to deliver the best possible experience for students Evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework Support the maintenance of a clean and professional learning environment Assist with non-teaching and instructional tasks as needed Essential Qualifications A passion for math and working with students Exceptional math competency through Calculus and Statistics Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to balance various ongoing tasks and responsibilities Willingness to learn and be trained in the Mathnasium Method Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, or education Familiarity with educational software and technology Experience working with students of varying skill levels and learning styles Skills and Competencies Required for Success Strong mathematical knowledge and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and team members Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced learning environment Strong organizational and time management skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Mathnasium, we are committed to the growth and development of our staff.
