Adult Ministries Pastor

Would you like to be an integral part of helping people find hope and healing as they journey with others in a Christ-centered care and recovery ministry? Are you a strong leader who loves developing, equipping, and deploying volunteer teams, and seeing them use their gifts and abilities to further Gods Kingdom? Do you have exceptional interpersonal skills, excellent discernment, and a healthy biblical approach to conflict resolution? And would you find great joy in using those gifts to encourage adults in their relationship with Jesus Christ? Our ideal candidate for this people-focused pastoral staff position will be someone who will use the unique gifts mentioned above to sheperd and oversee the adult discipleship ministries at the Aurora Campus. In collaboration with the one-church adult ministry team and the campus pastor, this person serves as a key contributor to the strategic development of Community Groups, Adult Ministries programs, events, and initiatives for the campus. This role works closely with the campus pastor to provide leadership in pastoral care, connections, and outreach on campus, while helping people connect with the church. The adult ministries pastor plays a crucial role by coming alongside those who are hurting or need care through the church's weekly Care Night support and recovery ministry. We see this person as a vital key in helping people become thriving followers of Jesus Christ, who are fully engaged in the life of Christ Community Church.
