Admissions Interviewer (Part-Time, Remote)
**Overview:**
Macalester College is seeking multiple Part-Time Remote Admissions Interviewers to support our full-time staff in the interview process for our upcoming application rounds. This position is an excellent opportunity to work remotely and make a meaningful impact on the college admissions process. **Responsibilities:**
Ā Conducts an evaluative interview, eliciting information about the... student's high school curriculum, performance record, extracurricular involvements, and potential to contribute to the Macalester community. * Answers student questions about the College and its programs. * Synthesizes, writes, and edits a short evaluative summary of the strengths and notable elements of each interview conversation. **Qualifications:**
Ā High School Diploma/GED required
Ā Bachelor's degree preferred
Ā Direct experience as a student or staff member at a highly selective liberal arts college preferred
Ā Direct experience working in college access, college admissions, and/or college counseling is preferred
Ā Must have an appreciation for the value of a liberal arts education
Ā Possess knowledge of the overall landscape of selective higher education
Ā Are able to work respectfully with sensitive and confidential information
Ā Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and diversity

Ā Guaranteed eight weeks of work in 2024 and four weeks of work in 2025
